Baby still eating every hour?

Question

Anyones baby still eating every hour during the day? At night he will go anywhere from 2 hours to 4 hours but as soon as hes awake he is hungry every hour. He will be 5 weeks old this week. I exclusively breastfeed. I don't mind but it makes it really hard to go anywhere in public because by the time I pack him up and get him anywhere hes screaming for the boob. Sometimes hes hungry again in 45 mins. 😫

Definitely call the doctors to see a lactation specialist! 
We were having a similar issue. She was eating every 1.5-2 hours and I was exhausted!! I went to breastfeeding support and we did a weight check. She was weighed before and after a feeding and turns out that she was only eating an ounce in one feeding! She also had reflux and that was causing belly aches and throat burning, so she didn’t eat as much because of that. I started pumping and nursing constantly to get my supply up and after 5 days, she’s eating closer to 2 ounces now and her weight is up. Her feedings are also stretching 2-3 hours now!

My guy is almost 6 weeks old and yep, eating every 1.5 hour during the day! Like you guys, at night, he sleeps about 4-5 hours, but day time is totally different!

I haven’t had this issue until last night. It started around 6pm and then he went his normal 4 hours throughout the night but now we’ve been up every hour since 430 and he’s eating for 20-25 minutes each time 😭 he just hit 1 month yesterday

Are you offering both boobs to make sure he's satisfied? My daughter is almost 2 months and still eats every 2 hours except at night also where she will go anywhere from 3-5 hours. Have you ever given him a bottle? When we're going to be going out somewhere I'll defrost a bag and pack it all up and feed her right before we walk out the door, usually helps her sleep for a while (she loves car rides) then if she does wake up while we're out we have the bottle ready to go
