Who gets the aunt/ uncle title?
I feel like I've seen an increase in parents giving that title to their friends who are not blood related to their children. It wasn't a thing when I grew up so it's a bit foreign to me.
What do you all think? Should that title be reserved for only family or is it OK for anyone whose import in the child's life?
Bonus question; Do you think it's confusing for kids to not know the difference between a blood related aunt or Uncle and a friend who's been given the title?
