how soon will you take baby out after birth??

so im starting to overthink this im sure....but our nephews 3rd birthday party will be likely 1-3 weeks after baby girl comes (depending on when she comes). im starting to get nervous about taking our newborn around that many people and kids (likely 25 adults and 10 kids or so). i feel like kids will want to look at her or get in her face and adults will want to hold her.

am i being too overprotective if we decide not to go? i dont want to hurt my fiances feelings or his sisters but idk if this is such a great idea. alternatively if she likes the moby wrap i could try to keep her in that the whole time but i feel like people will still want to hold her. alot of these people wont have met her before then and i wont obviously know/be able to ask if all the kids or adults have been sick.

not to mention if I will feel like leaving the house yet or still be bleeding?? 🤷🏼‍♀️ im a ftm who will be breastfeeding for the first time as well.

what are some of your go to answers for not letting people hold/touch the baby? or to get out of going somewhere??
