Is it a waste of time to try to find baby names you like BEFORE you're pregnant (when there's a possibility that I may never get preg?) My husband says yes. I say it helps me deal with the situation. What do you think?

Definitely not a waste of time haha I wish I’d come up with some ideas before I fell pregnant, I’m half way through my pregnancy and we only have a girls name picked out and don’t know the gender yet 😅

My ex wife and I would look through baby names laying in bed. A baby name is not a name that should be decided on last minute (in my opinion) though I’ve heard of people waiting to see their baby in person to see if it fits them. I knew before I got pregnant both times that my son would be Kye, and my daughter would be have something to do with myself, my mother and my sister who was murdered. So her full name is LeannaRose ElizabethRenee. My sons name is Kye Mayson. Spelled Mayson for May, because my birthday is May.

Me and my partner have been together for 7 years, i was on the injection and from the beginning we have talked about baby names, so far as well have our names picked out, we have put our names together to come up with our 2 future boys names. I couldn't think of a girls name so i have let him choose. But we have only just started TTC, so i recon it fine, nothing wrong with being prepared

I think we all do things that are a waste of time, if it’s something that brings you enjoyment then why is it so bad? Not every second of every day productive. Do what you wanna do. 😅 
I have always kept an eye out for names I liked, but I knew my husband wasn’t really interested until the time came. So I picked my favorites and made a list in my phone, and when the time came I had it ready. 😎 Also, he scrolls through photos of trucks like I do with names, I’d laugh in his face if he criticized me. 😂 his habit isn’t any more productive than mine 🙈

My husband REFUSES to plan for a baby until we have one. He is a very free-spirited person by nature, whereas I am TYPE A ALL THE WAY, so it infuriates me. Guarantee even if I get pregnant he won’t want to discuss names until the baby is practically crowning! 😂 The funny thing is - I think he wants a baby even more than I do. He is just not a planner.
