Do you see baby during genetic testing ultrasound?

I didn’t have genetic testing with my first so I’m not sure exactly how it works. Do they let you see the baby like at your other ultrasounds or is it more like the tech has the screen turned away from you so that they can focus on what they’re trying to find? How long did the ultrasound portion of your test take?

My tech always showed me the screen no matter what, it look about 10 minutes.

Yup, it’s pretty much like a regular ultrasound appt + blood work

Here's how mine went :) 
Ultrasound - I got to watch. Then reviewed by radiologist, then down the hall to genetic counselor, then down the hall for blood work. Friday is my 20 week scan 👶♥️😍

Ours had a screen so we could see our very active baby had to do a follow up with a NIPT test cane back clear and found out the gender

Ultrasound in our office has a tv for our patients to look at while our tech looks at the small screen. I was able to see while they did measurements of the neck area (for the NT scan) & then I got blood work done. 
Depends on the testing you’re doing and on the office. Some don’t include a scan. And some offices don’t have a screen for you to look at.
