Any other sahm or wives get snippy because you just don’t care

My fiancé calls me everyday during lunch, which usually is fine it’s like 20-30 min. We catch up about our day, make plans. I stay with our two month old baby and he works landscaping temporarily.

Today I just snapped, everything with the baby went fine, great morning she’s napping. He calls me 10 minutes before break saying the supervisors today don’t care about the phone being out. Fine, great, what’s up?

Twenty minutes in the conversation and the only bit of conversation I can even respond to is what we should do for dinner. The other 19 minutes is how they mowed a field today.... with 3 people instead of 4 like yesterday... and how he took some Ibuprofen.. not even a reason why just that he took two pills...

I don’t wanna be harsh but man what am i supposed to talk to you about. I don’t even know your co workers names or anything... I can’t do forty minutes of basic silence with a word or two of grass in between... I have a million other things to do...
