First time nursing in public

St

So my son is 7 months and I have been really nervous to bf in public so I planned everything around nursing. Today we went Fredricks Meijer Gardens, its a butterfly sanctuary, has massive greenhouses, art gallery, sculpture gardens, and more if you are ever in MI its worth the drive. Anyway I took my niece and nephew as they have tons of stuff for kids. Well my son needed to nurse and they didn't have a Mom room so I took the kids to the library. It was virtually empty except an old lady at the desk. I got the kids looking at art books and began to nervously nurse my son under a receiving blanket. Which my son just tore right off... I met the look of the old lady and she smiled and said how cute my son was. I was so relieved! I've heard all these shaming stories from other women and was so scared to do it! I really needed the confidence boost and now I actually feel comfortable nursing in public. My niece who is 6 had all sorts of questions and my nephew who is 10 did as well. I hope I convinced them both that this is normal and natural. I actually had to nurse my son again so I just went back to the library and this time an older man was working and he didnt say anything when I whipped my boob out, simply moved out of my sight casually to give me privacy. Today was a win!
