With our first birth, my water broke and contractions didn’t start within 18 hours so we weren’t allowed to birth at our birth center and had to birth in a hospital. I was induced with Pitocin...looking back I realize I could have refused induction but they made us feel like I had to do it.

Anyway, hoping to avoid that next time if for some reason it happens again. Anyone else with a similar situation? I’ve not been able to find much information online about what might have caused it so I can prevent it this time around 😕
