Long-distance help?...

I'm 23(F) I have a 4 year old son. And my bf 28(M) lives 4 hours travel away. Now I travel to see him ever second weekend. Friday (over 4hours there) and Sunday over 4 hours back. Ever two weeks. I've been doing it for 6 months. He has 6 months last in this job.

My problem is I'm the only one who travels. He would occasionally come down and stay with his parents (I'm in the process of move so he can't stay with me) but lately I'm the only one traveling and it's getting to me.

Anyway is it unreasonable for me to ask him to come down on of those weekends instead of me going go him. But only if he can't make it down any other time that month?

Also anyone else in long distance relationships help? Tips? thank you
