Is it my fault he left ....

So my ex broke up with me about a month ago, we had a really good relationship apart from the arguments we were together for 2 years, he started bringing up everything from the past when he broke up with me and a day later he had someone else. I was so easy to replace and now my mom says it’s my fault, because when I would get mad I would say a lot of hurtful stuff to him and yes it’s true when HE would get me mad I would call him a bitch or say other stuff . So is it ? My fault ? Or was it just an excuse ?
