Is she ready for a toddler bed?

Question

I walked in my 16 month olds room to wake her from her nap, only to find her having climbed up her crib, onto the attached changing table and sitting in the top drawer! (Playing, throwing things out) my heart stopped so worried she was going to fall before I got to her. 
Her crib is the lowest it can go, and she loves climbing everything in the house, I just thought we had more time before she could scale the crib. 😄 
Should I move her to a toddler bed, or does anyone have any other recommendations? I do have a camera I can set up to check on her, since I know for a fact she will be getting out of the toddler bed for a while.
This is her crib style (NOT lowered in this picture, it is all the way lowered down to the bottom rail right now)

Well, we went ahead and converted it into a toddler bed (without detaching the changing table and sides)  and she slept in it all night! She did explore her new bed before we laid her down, but went right to sleep when we left the room, waking up at her normal 7am🙏🏻😊  
Hopefully she keeps this up!

Mattress on floor. Babe can Def fall out and you want to prevent that. Sleep consults recommend crib till at least 4 but Ofcourse every kid is different and if you feel she is ready then do it.

I dont have any advise but i just have to say she is sooooo cute 😍😍😍 that big smile looks like she just got caught climbing when she wasnt suppose to haha

I would give it a try. We just moved our 17 month old to a toddler bed. He loves it. He does get out of bed, but eventually climbs back in. Its only been a few days and there hasn't been a change in sleep pattern. If anything hes happier when he wakes up because hes not trapped in bed. We completely baby proofed his room, put a few toys in there and we put a baby gate at his door so hes not wandering around the house.

That crib looks so high with our crib on the highest setting that’s where it is. But maybe invest in a lower crib. We have 3 lowering options this is on the highest for newborn-5months then will lower as they get older

If she's climbing out of her crib I'd definitely move her to a toddler bed. The 1st time my older 2 boys did this I switched them right away

Yep! That’s when mine started. She’s 21 months now and is doing great in it.
