Should I get a double stroller?

I’ll have an almost 3 year old and a newborn. I’m a SAHM so I’ll have them both home and hopefully brave enough to go out as much as possible. However money is tight, and I have a Ford Focus so I don’t even know if a double will fit in the trunk. Wondering if I can get away with just having a boogie board for my oldest? TIA! ❤️

IDK what type of stroller you have but my 3 yrs old sits in the front of our bob jogging stoller and just rides like that. I aslo always keep a baby carrier with me and wear my daughter when my son has had enough and really needs to be pushed. Personally were doing fine without a double but I would also be just as happy buying a used double on FB marketplace.

The ride on board is great for a 3 year old! They really do have a lot of energy and learn to go for longer walks. You can also wear baby and have the 3 yr old ride while sitting at the beginning.

My mom and aunt just got a used double for $60 of a Facebook yard sale site. My son will be 3 in November and new baby due in December. I was also really hesitant because they are so expensive. My son is so busy and has a hard time staying with us shopping or going places. I was considering my sanity haha.
