same rules for opk & hcg.?

Do the same rules apply to opk test as they do to hcg as in after the time limit they are no longer valid? Because my opk have been turning into very dark positives few mins after the 5 min mark. & if it is ok then i have been “peaking” for like 4 days lmao. someone please help. New to all of this soo im a little confused!

Not quite the same. Opks can be read up to the 10 min mark and tend to hold their true color much longer. Unless the box says to, you also shouldn't use fmu for opks. 
If you had a peak read, you shouldn't be testing any more because you'll ovulate 12 to 36 hrs after the first positive regardless of how long the surge lasts.
