Are baby utensils a "must"?

Question

Do we have to buy those cute little baby utensils or can we just use the utensils we already have?  What are the advantages of the baby-specific utensils? 
We live in a small space and are already overloaded with baby stuff and stuff in general!

If you mean things like spoons, I'd say get a plastic one, don't use a metal one straight away and for things like bowls aslong as they can't break it, it should be fine

You will definitely want smaller Urbana for baby, unless you already have some.  Baby can't fit regular spoons in their mouth as well.  We got baby spoons for my first, but no baby forks...she just uses lobster forks we got from my in-laws!

Yeah I think it's just avoiding metal ones. So any of the plastic, bamboo, wooden or silicone tipped ones will do.
My MIL has been saving the plastic spoons from her seaside ice cream visits!

I just got these. They are more like a hard rubber type not plastic. But I don’t think I’ll get her bowls till she’s gonna eat by herself or at least have moderate portions for solid food

We use these in our infant rooms at work so i have these for my son for when he’s ready
