Bored easily?

Anyone else's baby get bored easily in their awake times? We are constantly on the go changing his activities during his awake times as he gets bored after a few mins. Problem is currently he can't roll yet so he gets frustrated being lay down in 1 position and he's only just learning to grab things so we are currently in an inbetween phase where he's getting bored but can't actually do alot. We sing, we chat, he has a kick about on the floor or on his play mat. I take him out for a walk, we read books and go and visit friends. I can't wait for this inbetween phase to be over so he can start to do more bless him. Don't know the point of this post!? Just suppose I wanted to see if anyone else was in the same situation. He only turned 4 months on Friday!
