Dad wants nothing but time away
My little guy will be one in September! He’s a wonderful little dude, learning and growing like crazy; and we love him to bits. But it feels like Dad only wants time away from him.
I’m totally fine with having date nights (though it annoys me that I have to do everything to organize them). And we have our five-year anniversary coming up, so we’re hoping to spend time by ourselves. But my husband makes all these complaints that we can’t be adults unless we’re away from the baby or complains that our adult life is over.
I’m just like... why did you want to have a baby if all you want to do is spend time away from him? I have no kind way of asking that obviously, and he’d be horribly offended if I suggested that. But I’m just frustrated with his attitude. 🙄
