Do you help your partner with rent/bills ?

So I was talking to a friend about this a few days ago (male friend) and he says men should handle bills by themselves, I personally disagree. In my opinion women and their partners should split the bills and help each other out, what about you guys? Share your opinions

If you work then yes, you need to help in some way shape or form. If you don’t work, then you should cook, clean, have the errands finished etc.. this should apply to anyone regardless of gender. It’s 2019 and really freaking hard to pay bills and make ends meet. I have a joint account with my husband and we don’t split anything we just use what we need for everything we have to pay for.

This is something that there is no solid right or wrong, it's all based on circumstances. In my relationship, my husband works hard long hours and pays all the bills and I don't work, but that's how we want it so I'm home with our children

I pay almost all the bills. I’m more responsible with my money. He about freaked out when I told him I was going on maternity leave for at least 2 months so he’ll be responsible for the bills during that time. Hopefully we don’t get kicked out of our apartment. I feel like it should be equal when you live with your partner but every relationship is different.

We split the bills. Pretty much 50/50. We work as a team.

If I live in a space and use the utilities (water, electricity, food, heat, tv, phone, internet, etc) in that space, best believe I’m paying my share for it.

It’s nice to do 50/50. Whatever works for your guys marriage. 
My husband pays for everything. I don’t pay nothing at all. My husband doesn’t want me to work at all and stay home with the kids. Been SAHM for 3 years and so far we haven’t had any arguments about money.
