Child Predators seeking to change age of consent?

Ok so I was reading this article about how child predators want to be refered to as M.A.P.S. and join the LGBTQ. They're also asking to lower the age of consent to 12 or 13... I couldn't help but wonder what people would actually say if they managed to succeed. I seriously hope they don't as that'd be awful but with the crazy horrible shit that happens everyday how would people react to this passing? I for one would keep a very very close and strict eye on my kids and possibly gain a hate crime charge if one of them touched my babies...
