1st Birthday theme for girls?

Suggestions would be awesome! My daughter turns 1 this December!! We aren't having a big party, just having the family all together for cake and ice cream. But I still want a theme for a little bit of decor here and there... or even just color schemes? Please and thank you!

My daughter was born on Earth Day so I threw and “Earth Day Birthday” for her first birthday. 
Is your little one into any books yet? I’ve seen cute parties with a theme like Brown Bear, the Very Hungry Caterpillar, etc. 
Circus or carnival theme, garden party, tea party, rainbow, milk and cookies, pineapples, taco bar, ice cream theme, pool party, unicorns, hot air balloons, baby shark, watercolors... that’s all I can think of right now!

My first daughter was born in early Jan, so for her first birthday, I did a Winter wONEderland theme, and kept all of my Christmas decorations up if they were white, and added some large plastic snowflakes and silver danglers from the party store. Anything that looked even slightly wintertime or snowy worked! It was very classy and easy to do!! I’ll look for pics and add some later!
