There’s a girl in my friend circle that I’m not very close with anymore since she cheated on her ex, who was one of my closest friends and hurt him and some others quite a lot. Since then, me and him have gotten a lot closer and we really like each other and I’m hoping it will turn into something more. If me and the girl were still close, I would feel obligated to tell her about the situation between me and him now because of girl code and things, but I can’t tell if it applies to this situation. It’s quite new and not many people know about us yet, and although I’m not sure if she still regards me as a friend to her, I wouldn’t say that we’re friends — although we do still get along and meet up as part of the group occasionally. Do you think I should speak to her?
