Husband won't freeze his semen for IVF

So my husband and I were suppose to start our first round of IVF with my last period that was suppose to start on July 21st. Well.... do to all the stress about IVF and keeping it to ourselves (no one knows, expect my glow family) my period was 5 days late (this happens so rarely). This is unfortunate because my husband is frequently out of town for work and would not be available for ICSI during this cycle. So now we have to wait 2 months as he doesn't want to freeze his semen because he wants to be there with me. He is such a wonderful man and a wonderful father but honestly I am upset as I am 39 almost 40 and each month egg quality is less and less. 😭😭😭😭
