Bleeding after sex??

Ok so my boyfriend and I have only been able to see eachother once on the weekend for the past few weeks and if we don’t have sex for like 5+ days I end up bleeding afterwards when we do. It’s not a lot but it’s just uncomfortable and a little embarrassing. Him and I have been sexually active for months now and when we were closer to each other we would regularly have sex..like 3-4 times a week..Is it normal to bleed after sex like this?
