We have a 4 year old beagle who is very well behaved at home. We used to crate him but over time he got severe anxiety and would poop/pee himself if he knew we were putting him in as well as start shaking and tuck his tail in. We did everything possible to make the crate a happy place. Lucky for us, he is an angel when left alone at home loose around the apartment. He just sleeps all day in our bed. He doesn’t chew on anything or go potty.

We are looking into getting a lab puppy! I know the puppy training process all to well as I trained all of our family dogs back home. But now I have an adult dog that I can’t crate and I DO want the puppy in a crate. Will there be issues with having the puppy in a crate while my other dog is loose?
