Sleeping at night

Hi new here! Wanted to ask if he sleeps at night should we wake him for milk? Last night I knocked off cause before bed he had puked cause I was forcing to give him milk although he was still semi asleep. So after that then he had 40ml expressed (maybe started at around 1am didn’t really have time) and then he slept till 5am and so did I. Should I have woken him? In future what should I do?
