Uninvited guests

We have a pool at our condo complex that my sister in law frequents with her kids. I have no problem with that however, today on her way out she seen our cars parked and decided to invite herself up. It’s a Saturday, we had plans, I was also not in a mood for company and just wanted to relax I had started on dinner etc etc. don’t get me wrong, I love having guests over but I don’t like people stopping by that I hadn’t planned for at all. Am I overdoing it or is this ok?
