Why do people make the comments they do?!?!

I am currently 16 weeks pregnant.. When I got pregnant I was the biggest I have ever been.. This is my 3rd and I started showing at 11 weeks.. Well lately people have been asking how far along I am... When I tell them they respond "are you having twins?" Ummm no there is only 1 in there.. Then they comment again "are you sure?? The second one could be hiding!" pregnancy is a beautiful blessing and I am really trying to just roll with it but the way people judge and make comments is actually getting to me and I usually don't let that stuff bother me but lately it's getting me down!! A LOT of people make this comment to me it's not just a couple... Just wanted to vent!! Thanks for reading!! This is my 15 week bump!!

I hate those people, like thanks please continue to tell me how large I am as if I didn't already know🙄🖕. I usually say something snarky when they get there like "and when are you due?!" To both males and females, it seems to get the point across.

I feel the same I'm going on 16 weeks in 2 days and my mother in law yesterday was like god Mandy how far along are you ? I was like 4 months I am showing pretty big. This is my 2nd child everyones body is different though I mean I feel like people can be rude and make unnecessary comments. I feel you girl pay no mind to them as long as baby is healthy that's all that matters in the end. Pay no mind.

I'm on my first and for some reason started showing early, but especially my gram was sooooo convinced I had twins and said the same crap and never stop talking about it whenever I saw her, it would irritate me so bad and I kept telling her that they would have found another one at my 2nd ultrasound which they did not. nor was there another one at my anatomy scan! just 1 nugget in there and hes growing fast! this is me now at 22weeks

I literally just had this discussion with my husband about how much I hate when people say this. I feel like people get super awkward about what they say to pregnant women. I dont think they mean anything by it, but its annoying as F.

I'll never cease to be amazed by what people think it's okay to say to a pregnant woman! I've gotten the twins comment as well. You look beautiful- try not to let them get to you. Hard, I know.

I guess there us never a right size belly, people love to comment.... every woman is different, i get comments how small my belly is, my family is concerned even thought i told them she is growing well and super healthy...try to ignore and enjoy the pregnancy!

I feel like I'm on the tiny side for being 35+5. People at work tease me about having twins. No matter how much I say I don't like it or that I am positive that there is only one baby, they still say "the heartbeats,could be lined up perfectly" or "the other one is hiding." It really irritates me. It was cute at first but to hear it for 20+ weeks, every day it feels like, it does become really irritating.
