Is there an easier way of telling my bf when I'm on my period?

Me and my boy are gonna hang out this week and I just got my period today so but he's a little.. dumb when it comes to my metaphors. I'm like "they're kool-aid in the basement' and point to my vagina or I say "sorry cant, I'm bleeding out my butt" (jokingly of course) and he's left clueless! I just feel awkward telling one of my guy friend I'm on my period.

Or you could grow up and say “ I am on my period” 🤷🏼‍♀️. I like to use humor too but if the message isn’t getting across just say it in simple terms.

Just grow up and say it..... I always tell my boyfriend that my period is coming up and when it comes. Not shy about it, just means im not pregnant so he’s not mad when it comes.
