I had heart palpitations on rare occasions outside of pregnancy. My heartbeat is slightly irregular, but my doctor said it wasn't too bad so nothing to be concerned about. But during my pregnancy I definitely had them more often. Once the pregnancy was over it went back to being rarely. So it's just a temporary thing you kinda just try to deal with

It’s just something that ease off in time. You’re having them because of all the extra blood flow and volume due to your pregnancy. I mentioned it to my doctor when I was pregnant, they sent me to a heart specialist to be safe of course. They monitored my heart and said everything was fine and told me it’s normal!
