Baby fear??

Is it normal for a 6 almost 7 month old to be completely terrified of the vacuum? She has never been on the floor when it is on and she hasn't got hurt in any way by a vacuum. I'm very confused

Yes absolutely. It’s a very loud noise and it’s unfamiliar to them. They don’t have to be hurt by it to be afraid.

It's a bit weird as it's white noise and should soothe them. Even the volume shouldn't be a problem...but every baby is different!
