I am beyond frustration at this point. I feel like my child is slipping through the cracks and no-one will help us.

After 3.5 years of knowing something was wrong, and dealing with all the pediatricians saying "it's just a phase, he'll grow out of it" bullshit, I forced them to get my son evaluated. And sure enough, I was right. But then the phycologist who said he had high-functioning autism spectrum disorder and promised to help him, turned around and wrote a report saying my son was just shy of being considered autistic. Completely screwed us over. Now he's 4 1/2 yrs old, doesn't talk very well, can't communicate with even me on even the littlest of things. He keeps regressing every time he makes progress, he has troubles sleeping, he won't socialize, let alone be potty trained. I have called everyone in East TN, but no-one seems to be able to help. Speech therapy didn't work very well the first time we tried it. And got very expensive..

The school can't help with speech until he is enrolled, which he can't do until he's potty trained, which he also can't do without help communicating. So I'm at a total fucking loss y'all. I'm currently looking into getting another speech therapist, but who knows how much it'll cost this time... With having a new baby in the mix, I am just really struggling. I feel like I'm failing him, but I don't know what else to do..
