Daytime versus night time sleep
Just curious what you mammas are doing. I took the takingcarababies newborn sleep class and she says to wake your LO every 2.5-3 hours during the day for feedings to try and get as many calories in during the day in hopes to get longer stretches of sleep throughout the night. I’ve been doing this, but wonder if waking her during the day gets her in the habit of being up every three hours. She hasn’t really slept longer than that at night. Part of me wonders if I let her sleep for longer stretches during the day she might get used to that and sleep longer at night? What are your routines and how do you guys think it helps night sleep?
