A week and a half ago, I had an ultrasound and there was fluid surrounding the baby under her skin. I had genetic testing done and that all came back normal. Went to a follow up ultrasound today and it’s bad. She was diagnosed with Hydrops. Swelling/edema. I was given the choice to wait until she passes on her own or terminate. I did request to go to a MFM doctor to get a better understanding and a clearer head before I make my decision. I’ll be 12 weeks tomorrow. I’m devastated and heart broken. I have to be strong and make the best decision I can for my little girl.
