Genital herpes

Few months ago I was raped and contracted genital herpes. How do I date now? Im 19 and I feel like no one will want to be with me. I finally met a guy i actually like, and I shared my status with him. At first he was supportive and understanding, now after we’ve had protected sex he’s questioning whether I’m who he wants to be with. What do I do ? Is my dating life over? I am on daily antiviral medication currently.
