It depends on the couple if they're willing to be committed and go through the opsticles , my husband and i have been together since i was in 7th grade we now are married with 2 kids and just got our first home together.

Honestly? I think they can, but it’s almost a shame, to me..... people grow soooo much from childhood/high school to adult hood, and not truly experiencing life selfishly while you can really limits and, in my opinion, stunts a person’s growth.

My parents started dating in grade 11, they just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.

Me and my SO have been together since 2012 :) we are now 22 and are trying for our third child :)

My sister and her husband have been together since high school. They’re in their mid 30’s now, married and doing very well.

I know a couple that have lasted but I’m SOOOO glad my high school sweetheart broke up with me before my senior year. I wouldn’t have the amazing life I have now if I had stayed with him.

I wasn't looking at it from a romantic POV, I was looking at it as in friendships. But both are possible, friendships are more likely though.

It can work. My husband is my HS sweetheart,  we've been together 16 years, married 10 years. 2 kids and 1 on the way. It's hard work but if you truly love that person, it will work. Communication is key and so is trust.  If you don't have trust you have nothing. Also remember that a relationship is about partnership,  not ownership!

My parents met in middle school, started dating in tenth grade, got married after college, & now are celebrating 43 happy years of marriage this month! So it's definitely possible. However, even my mom herself says that 99% of the time it's a bad idea 😂
