Ummm did I have a miscarriage?

My period finished a few days ago. My husband and I did the deed several times since and today I started bleeding really heavily again... there were a lot of blood clots. (Sorry if this is tmi) I haven’t been feeling good lately and I’m a little nervous that I had a miscarriage??? I don’t know. I got married a few months ago and got on birth control. I forgot to take it the last few days and we’ve been lax about using condoms. Someone please put my mind to rest!
