Thumb Sucking and Nipple Confusion?
My 3 month old is EBF. We have never given him a bottle or a pacifier. The last 24-48 hours he hasn’t been latching the same. It’s been more like repetitive 30 sec latches than a continual 10-15 minute latch. I “caught” him sucking his thumb for the first time today. Does this sound like nipple confusion? If so, can thumb sucking cause nipple confusion?
