Insight?

My son has been exclusively bottle fed since 2 weeks old. He's now almost 6 weeks old and the past week has not been taking the bottle right away, not latching, but fussing if I take it away. Eventually he takes it, but I have to keep taking it and re offering. He does the same thing with a pacifier, which most the time I just give up with it. I've read about nipple flow, but it's hard to imagine he would need upped to medium flow already. Anyone else deal with this?
