Heavy Period!

I went to a waterpark yesterday with my family. I put a tampon in bc the car ride was about an hour long. Once i got to the ticket booth i started to feel and see blood on my leg. My period was NEVER this heavy. I wear super tampons and i just gone through a super tampon in 2 hours!! I had to take my bathing suit bottoms off and wash them before going in the water. The rest of the day i had to change my tampons every 1-2 hours. I’m 14 years old and my mom said that it will get lighter but it’s just getting heavier. :( Any similar stories??
