FYI, I don't intend to sound culturally insensitive at all.

I'm an Indian by race but was born and raised in Dubai. So, I grew up with people from around the globe. Now that I'm in Canada, I notice that, and I use these words politely, white girls don't mind dating brown guys, but I'm yet to see white guys with brown girlfriends. Is it a thing here? Because I've been approached by Indian guys for going out with them and I find that I'm not compatible with them at all. But I'm worried my skin complexion makes the Canadian male population keep a distance from me. Am I just not able to notice that white guys do date brown girls or am I right about this twisted situation?
