just a bit curious

I do not know if I am wrong here but my Fiancé Jon started to act out with me when I said no to spanking me in public. Let me backtrack, so you get a full understanding. My Fiancé whole thing with smacking each other butt and even my nephew does it, and lately, I feel like that should be kept behind closed doors. We were drinking and IDK if he had too much or just him smacking me like always. We walked a dog at night like (usually sober), and he slaps me, and I see a lady walking her dog, and I told him not to do that then aging, and I stop and told him to stop doing that in public ( the second smack and car drove by us) he got mad and I told him I'm not ok with you smacked me in public and pleased to respect me when I say no.. He got even more insane and started walking even faster and did not want me to talk to him. Did I do something wrong here or. Should I ask him what going on?
