Minimum stay in hospital?

I’m 32 weeks pregnant and I wondered if anyone in Scotland knew what the minimum stay in hospital is if your birth and baby is fine?
Will they only keep you in for 4-6 hours or will they keep you at least 12-24 hours?

My baby was absolutely fine except a wee bit low temperature but once it was sorted we were out. Baby born 4am and I was out 2pm. I think it might be 6-8 hours minimum?

I’m in scotland and with my last two births baby 2 and 3 I got discharged after 6 hours, both babies were natural births with gas and air only, think it depends on how much intervention you need in labour and the time of day also

I’m not Scotland but am assuming it’s similar timings to England 🤔
My labour was straight forward - no medical intervention and my son was born very healthy. I did have to have A LOT of stitching for 3 internal tears but that was it. 
I was asked to stay overnight because I have a past history of DVT so they wanted to monitor me, otherwise we would have been able to leave that day. I had my son at around 2pm and left around that time the next day. We could have gone in the morning but baby needed to have his checks and that seemed to take ages for us to get seen! They also needed to check two of my pees to check their wasn’t a problem going to the loo 😂
