Clomid sucess after 6 cycles??

Hi all, i have PCOS and am on my 6th cycle of Clomid. I have ovulated every cycle except one but have not got pregnant. I had a hospital app yesterday and was told to stay on Clomid for another 3 cycles before we do IVF.
I’m just wondering if anyone has achieved pregnancy on Clomid after 6 cycles? X

There is a warning to not do more than 6 cycles especially in a row with clomid! It causes thinning of the lining of the uterus which is unfavorable for pregnancy among other health risks. If clomid hasn’t worked why not start femera? Seems like a waste to continue when you shouldn’t be anyway with that many clomid cycles!
