Which word is worse/or are they the same?
I grew up hearing my mom say “shit” for emphasis in bad situations (pain, anger etc). Not all the time, but every now and then. So I said it when I got older, too. But “crap” was crass and was always a bad word, but hubby’s family says “crap” all the time, like it is nothing (super religious family, and they don’t say anything else bad! They say things like “oh, foot!”)
Just curious if I was the only one raised to think “shit” isn’t that bad of a bad word, and that “crap” is way worse, or what! 🤪
