Should I take Clomid 150mg?

This will be my 4th month on clomid. I ovulated on 50mg the first month but not the 2nd month. Then my doctor upped me to 100mg last month and I had the worst side effects. I’m talking everything and everyone pissed me off and I was so emotional while I was taking the pills. Unfortunately I didn’t ovulate on 100mg either. I’m now on cd2 and I need to make a decision as to whether or not to take the 150mg my doctor upped me to. I guess I’m just nervous that the side effects will be worse. Any suggestions/experience?

My Dr is switching me to Letrozole (Femera). I ovulated on 50mg, my first month. This was my second month on 50, I did not ovulate. Had 2 follicle scans and they just wouldn’t get past 16mm. So Dr decided to switch me to Femera for the next cycle. 
He told me that there is no point trying Clomid again if I’m not responding. 
Ask you Dr about switching meds, or at least ask why they are sticking with Clomid if the past 2 cycles have been unsuccessful (when the first was).
