We got a gift certificate for baby/family photoshooting from a family member. We finally managed to get photos done at 5 weeks but for 30min since my LO wasn't having it anymore. The photographer said to keep the G.C and redeem it at a different time. She'll send me the pictures she took. Got the pictures yesterday, 24 of them none of with original colours! She edited the colours on 3 baby photos and the rest in B&W! 3 pictures of us in grey and terrible angle unedited. She took lots of pictures of mother+baby and father+baby but none was included. They are sooo aweful and was so disappointed. Come to find out the price is $180 for very unprofessional pictures. I was thinking to redeem the rest of the G.C by my LO's 1st Bday! Even though I don't recommend her at all. Do you think it would be appropriate for me to ask how many photos I get, if I can get them all in colour (because in B&W I can do it myself)?

I've never done shootings like these before so all you experienced ones do tell what you can demand and what not.
