Period after coming off depo

Hello. I came off depo in July after i had my period/spotting for a month straight on it (i was on it after having my son and once i stopped breastfeeding i got the side effects) well it stopped for a month and then i had what i thought was a normal period which lasted the normal amount of time and then it stopped for a week and started again...I’ve read this is normal and that it takes your body a while to regulate and get the depo out of your system. Was just wondering if anyone else experienced any of these side effects?
