What’s the longest you let your 2 month old sleep between feedings?

Just curious if everyone sticks with the normal pediatricians recommendations of feeding every two hours, including through the night. My little one will sleep for more than 4 hours at night if I let her.

As long as the baby has passed birth weight you no longer need to wake them. Let them sleep.

During the day, 3 hrs max and at night as long as she wanted. By 2 months she was eating at 9pm and then waking to eat again around 4am and then waking at 7:30am to eat and be up for the day.

My pediatrician never recommended waking & feeding every 2 hours at night. At 2 weeks, he said every 2 hours during the day & up to 5 hours at night. Even when we were being discharged from the hospital when my daughter was 4 days old, they told me up to 4 hours at night.

I never woke my baby to feed him. At 2 months he was only sleeping about 3 hours between eating at night with an occasional 5 hours between feedings. It was weird to wake up and realize I’d just slept for 5 hours but it was also so nice! He was on track and constantly gaining weight so I never woke him up for anything.

At no age do you have to feed every 2 hours, even newborn, unless you’re feeding on demand and bub is cluster feeding. At long as they’re back to their birth weight, you don’t need to wake them to sleep

I followed Babywise and it worked fine with us. After they reach birthweight or 4 weeks, they can go as long as how old they are. For example, when they're 5 weeks, they can go 5 hours. When they're 6 weeks, they can go 6 hours. When they're 7 weeks, they can go 7 hours. Of course once they hit 12 weeks, you don't just keep going. But my daughter was such a great sleeper, so we followed that guideline and yes we'd wake her up to feed!
