Marina IUD

I got a marina today for my first time getting birth control. I’ve heard so many bad things about birth control as it is but there’s also a ton of positive things that can come w it too. I’ve been cramping all day long for the first day 🥺 is this going to last the length of a regular period? can someone tell me their opinions-pros/cons and/or experiences!! good & bad both appreciated. ik everyone is different but it’s nice to have something to compare to!
