Long heavy period

I’m on day 8 of my period this past year they have become long I just had my first child and this started after this month my period seas not only long but so heavy that I was passing clots as large as golf balls I had one the size of a soft ball... I just miscarried last month and I know it can be heavy but this wasntmy first miscarriage and this has never happened I need it to end I’m supposed to have some testing done and can’t be on my period...
