Girlfriend vs Boyfriend

My girlfriend(bff not in a sexual matter) was drunk tonight af and she threatened my boyfriend that she would fight against anybody who would make me feel sad or something, so my boyfriend took it way personal and they almost started fighting (not physically of course). He blamed her being aggressive towards him and not liking him at all. My boyfriend can’t stand my girl anymore. How would you react. I think he took it personal and it’s his problem rather than hating her and he blamed me always taking my girlfriends’ side rather his. Please help
